Photo-documentation with fixed, permanent digital photograph locations repeated over time is an economical method to qualitatively describe changes of the restoration. We have established several locations throughout the restoration and take digital panoramic photographs or photopoints. Photopoints taken at specific times are useful tools to visually capture tidal extent during extreme tide events or vegetation colonization over the landscape. Photographs within the Nisqually Delta Restoration will be updated periodically.
